Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Orange warning for one county as heavy rain approaches.
The warning, which covers Co. Cork, will be in place from 6pm this evening until 6pm tomorrow.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around this county will experience very heavy rainfall, which may lead to localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
