Met Eireann issues urgent Status Orange warning for two counties ahead of the arrival of Storm Babet tomorrow




Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Orange warning for two counties ahead of the arrival of Storm Babet midweek.

The warning, which covers counties Cork and Waterford, will come into effect at 6am on Tuesday morning and remain in place for 24h.

According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy, thundery rain, which may lead to localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
