Met Eireann has issued an urgent thunderstorm warning for three counties ahead of potentially dangerous conditions.
The warning, which affects counties Dublin, Kildare, and Meath, will remain in place until 6pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms with the possibility of hail, which might cause hazardous driving conditions around rush hour.
