Met Eireann has issued an urgent warning for six counties due to worsening weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wexford, and Wicklow, will be in place until 7pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms throughout the day.
