Met Eireann has just issued an urgent weather warning affecting 15 counties.
A Status Yellow warning for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms will be in place from 2pm to 10pm today, for all counties in Leinster plus counties Tipperary, Cavan, and Monaghan.
The national forecaster is warning of the possibility of localized flooding.
