Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for five counties due to heavy rain.
The warning, which covers counties Dublin, Louth, Wicklow, Meath, and Kerry, kicked in at 9am and will remain in place for 12 hours.
This comes in the wake of Storm Babet, which caused devastation in some southern areas of the country over the past 48h.
