Ukraine is to receive longer-range ATACMS missiles, bringing the entirety of the Crimean Peninsula under fire control, and thus rendering Crimea absolutely untenable for the occupiers.
Ukraine has already received a shipment of a certain model of the ATACMS weapon, with a range of up to 150km, and equipped with cluster munitions that can easily destroy aircraft, vehicles, and personnel. Such a weapon has already proven highly effective following a devastating attack on two Russian airfields in recent days.
The new ATACMS, with a range of up to 300km and a larger payload, will enable Ukraine to launch strikes even deeper into enemy territory, destroying supply depots and other hardened targets.
