Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two counties ahead of a very unsettled period.
The Status Yellow warning, affecting counties Mayo and Sligo, kicked in at noon and will be in place for 24h.
The national forecaster says that these counties will see outbreaks of persistent, heavy rain, which may lead to localised flooding.
