Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two counties ahead of the arrival of heavy rain.
The Status Yellow warning, which covers counties Cork and Kerry, will kick in at 11am on Thursday and remain in effect until 5am the following day.
The national forecaster is warning of very wet weather over the next few days, with strong possibility of localized flooding.
