Met Eireann has issued a warning for high temperatures as the current heatwave is set to continue for most of the coming week.
Temperatures could reach as high as 30C across some places today, warmer in inland areas.
The forecast for the coming days is for long periods of sunshine and temperatures reaching the high 20s most days.
And the good news is that current predictions indicate that the summer-like weather might remain into next weekend.
