Met Eireann has issued a weather update for the weekend, warning of heavy downpours and thunderstorms, with flooding likely to occur.
The October Bank Holiday weekend appears set to be a washout, with adverse conditions throughout.
The only relatively good news is that temperatures will remain somewhat mild, reaching 14C at times.
