Met Eireann has just issued an urgent weather warning for rain, thunder, and possible flooding events affecting 20 counties.
The warning, affecting Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, and Waterford, came into effect at noon, and will remain in place until 3am on Friday morning.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast for these locations during this period.
