Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for four counties.
The warning, which covers counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo, will be in place from 1pm to 9pm on Wednesday.
According to the national forecaster, coastal areas will be worst affected.
