Met Eireann is predicting a very warm weekend ahead, but some thundery showers are likely too.
The national forecaster says that temperatures will reach 22-23C at times throughout the weekend, with some heavy showers across many areas on Saturday. Rain might be accompanied by thunder, but it will be short-lived.
Sunday will again be a warm and sunny day, with some heavy showers at times, and temperatures hovering just above 20C.
Changeable conditions will remain during the early part of next week too.
