Met Eireann is predicting a blustery day ahead, with calmer and colder weather arriving over the coming week.
According to the national forecaster, today, Sunday, will be a very wet and windy day, with the worst of the weather around southern and western counties. Elsewhere, it will be wet but not as windy.
Colder weather will set in from Monday on, with the possibility of frost formation overnight.
