Met Eireann is today predicting very unsettled weather for this week, with frosty conditions expected towards the second half.
According to the national forecaster, today, Monday, will bring some heavy showers at times, with just some brief periods of sunshine. The rest of the week will see a similar pattern, with colder weather forecast for Thursday.
Current indications point to an equally unsettled weekend.
