Met Eireann is this morning saying that Christmas Day’s weather is likely to be very unsettled, with rain and sunny spells and highest temperatures hovering at around the 10C mark.
According to the national forecaster, conditions will remain very changeable for the next few days, with strong winds and frequent outbreaks of rain.
The only good news is that it will remain relatively mild for the time of year, with thermometers climbing to 13C at times.
