Met Eireann says that high pressure will dominate the weather this week, leading to dry and settled conditions and temperatures of 20-22C by Friday.

Today, Monday, will be a mostly dry and bright day, with just some light showers, and temperatures reaching 15-16C.

Tuesday will start off bright and sunny, but cloudier conditions are expected by early afternoon, possibly leading to some scattered showers.

The rest of the week looks like a mostly dry few days, with weather conditions gradually improving as the week goes on.
