Met Eireann is this afternoon saying that Ireland is likely to see another spell of mild weather over the coming days, with temperatures rising to 17C.
According to the national forecaster, conditions are set to improve from Tuesday, with good sunny spells and above-average temperatures.
Early indications say that the benign weather could last throughout the week.
In the meantime, Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be rather wet and blustery days, with heavy rain showers and windy conditions, particularly on Sunday.
