Met Eireann is today saying that temperatures will rise to 31C again today, and possibly higher in certain places at times.
According to the national forecaster, some areas of Leinster and Munster might experience even hotter temperatures.
A Status Yellow for high temperatures remains in place until 6am on Monday.
