Met Eireann is today saying that the coming Bank Holiday weekend is set to be mild but quite wet, with better weather expected next week.
According to the national forecaster, there will be frequent outbreaks of rain throughout the weekend, with some sunny spells at times, and temperatures reaching 18C.
The rain will die out by Monday evening, giving way to brighter and drier conditions by midweek.
