Met Eireann is saying that the last few days of October might see temperatures often experienced in Ireland during July and August.
According to the national forecaster, a ‘plunge’ of warm air will move in from the south by the end of the month, pushing temperatures significantly upwards.
Looking further ahead, Met Eireann says that there appears to be no significantly cold front approaching Ireland for the foreseeable future.
