Met Eireann is today saying that the warm and dry spell will last until Tuesday, with wetter and cooler conditions expected for the rest of the coming week.

According to the national forecaster, the weather will take a turn for the worse by Tuesday evening, with heavy rainfall likely throughout Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

Cooler weather will follow, with daytime temperatures reaching 14-15C at best.
