
Met Eireann is saying that the weather will remain largely settled over the coming weekend, but warns of heavy rain coming next week.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be cloudy and dull around the southwest, sunnier elsewhere, with little or no rain, and temperatures reaching 10-11C.
Sunday will see a similar pattern, while Monday is forecast to be bright but cold.
According to the national forecaster, rain showers will develop on Tuesday, heavier across the northeast and west. Temperatures will remain relatively mild for the time of year, reaching 12-13C at times.
