Met Eireann is today saying that this week will see frequent outbreaks of rain, with Wednesday and Thursday expected to be the best days.
According to the national forecaster, weather patterns will remain rather unsettled for most of the week, but temperatures will hit 23-24C at times.
After a brief respite from the rain mid-week, showers are expected to return just in time for the weekend.
