Met Eireann says that weather conditions will likely improve towards the end of this week, with temperatures set to reach 22-23C.
According to the national forecaster, Ireland will see dry conditions by Thursday-Friday, though current indications show that the weekend will possibly see heavy showers at times.
The good news is that much better weather currently looks likely to arrive by next week, with early forecasts showing a spell of hot weather possibly hitting Ireland from Tuesday, though this remains uncertain.
