Met Eireann has this evening urgently extended its Status Orange warning to two more counties due to miserable weather conditions.
Counties Waterford and Wexford will now also be under weather warning until midnight on Thursday.
Counties Clare, Cork, and Kerry were already covered by the warning.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain and stormy conditions at times.
