Met Eireann is today warns of a cold front approaching Ireland, with frosty temperatures forecast from mid-week onwards.
According to the national forecaster, Monday, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday will remain relatively mild for the time of year, with temperatures reaching double digits during the day, and quite drizzly conditions.
The temperature will sink to below zero at times during Wednesday night, leading to an unsettled Thursday, with some sunny spells, frequent showers, and the possibility of thunderstorms at times.
The end of the week is currently looking rather cold, and the outlook for the weekend is uncertain.
