Met Eireann is today warning of cold and windy weather conditions approaching this week.
According to the national forecaster, it will become increasingly windier as the week goes on, with nighttime temperatures falling below zero at times.
Early indications point to a wet and windy weekend, with daytime temperatures topping 12-14C.
