Met Eireann warns of cold spell arriving this week, with snow likely across some areas




Met Eireann is today warning of a cold spell arriving this week, with snow likely across some areas.

According to the national forecaster, weather conditions will be very changeable this week, with temperatures becoming colder as the days go on.

Monday-Wednesday are forecast to be cold and mostly dry, with just some showers across the north and northeast.

Thursday will see a big change in the weather, with heavy rain arriving from the northwest during the morning and spreading in a southeasterly direction throughout the day. Temperatures will drop overnight, with lows of 0C expected, and the possibility of snow in Ulster.
