Met Eireann is this morning warning of cold temperatures throughout the day and overnight, with the possibility of snow, hail, and thunderstorms in places.
According to the national forecaster, the weather will remain very unstable today, with frequent showers and some sunny spells at times, amidst single-digit temperatures.
The outlook is for subzero temperatures to continue throughout the coming weekend.
