Met Eireann is warning of colder weather arriving by Wednesday afternoon, with lows of -3C and the possibility of snow.
According to the national forecaster, wintry showers and snow over high ground areas will replace the glorious sunshine of the last few days.
The only good news is that there will be little to no rain still for the next few days, though Met Eireann says that a band of heavy rain might arrive by Sunday.
