Met Eireann is today warning of frosty weather on Thursday night, with hazardous driving conditions expected overnight and into Friday morning.
According to the national forecaster, today, Thursday, will be a bright, cold, but mostly dry day, with temperatures reaching 11-12C. The thermometer will sink to freezing by evening though.
Friday looks like a dull and wet day, with temperatures rising to 13-14C.
Current indications show a mixed bag for the weekend, with rain and bright spells on Saturday and windy conditions on Sunday.
