Today, Saturday, will see some sunny spells mixed with outbreaks of heavy rain, and temperatures reaching 19C in the afternoon.
Sunday will see a similar pattern, with more persistent rain across southern areas.
The country is still reeling from the aftermath of Storm Ellen, and a number of households in isolated communities remain without power.
