Met Eireann warns of miserable weather conditions arriving towards the end of the week, with fog, frost, and possibly snow in the cards




Met Eireann is today warning of miserable weather conditions arriving towards the end of the week, with fog, frost, and possibly snow in the cards.

According to the national forecaster, Ireland will experience very changeable weather for the next seven days or so, with wind, rain, snow across high ground in northern areas, and temperature remaining in single digits during the day before plunging after dark.

The weekend itself is expected to start dry on Saturday, with rain showers developing later in the day, with some sunny spells also. Sunday will be a wetter day overall, with temperatures rising to 9C or just above.
