Met Eireann is warning of miserable weather conditions today and tomorrow, with no fewer than five weather warnings in effect.
As many as 16 counties will be under Status Yellow warnings for high winds until Thursday. Counties Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Limerick could experience winds of up to 110km/h.
Elsewhere, counties Leitrim and Sligo will also see strong winds throughout the day. Together with high tides tonight, it could lead to flooding.
Counties Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Donegal, and Meath will also see strong winds of up to 65km/h.
