Met Eireann is today warning of plummeting temperatures by Wednesday evening, with snowfalls likely in some areas.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will dip to -2C by Wednesday night, with wintry showers throughout the night and into Thursday.
Met Eireann is also warning that another storm might hit Ireland over the weekend, but the forecast is currently uncertain.
