Met Eireann is today warning of rather wet and miserable Easter Sunday weather, with persistent rain and even thundery downpours at times.
According to the national forecaster, there will be heavy showers across much of the country before a brief clearing of the weather by late afternoon.
Thundery showers will follow, making for rather unpleasant weather conditions.
