Met Eireann is warning of severe weather in parts of Ireland this afternoon.
According to the national forecaster, the midlands are likely to be particularly affected by thunderstorms.
A weather alert is in place for counties Offaly, Westmeath, Roscommon, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Donegal, Clare, Cavan, and also north Tipperary.
Heavy showers are likely at times across many areas, with the possibility of hailstones.
