Met Eireann is warning of the possibility of thunderstorms today, but better weather will develop from tomorrow.
According to the national forecaster, heavy showers, thunder, and hail will affect some areas this afternoon, with the worst of the weather expected around eastern Leinster and Ulster.
Temperatures will remain relatively mild, hitting 16-17C at times.
The good news is that warmer and more settled conditions will begin to develop throughout Bank Holiday Monday.
