Met Eireann is warning of more thunderstorms and rain today, Saturday, but finer weather may return during the second week in September.
According to the national forecaster, this weekend’s weather, and that of the coming week, will remain fairly unsettled, as low pressure continues to dominate weather patterns.
There are early indications however that high pressure may take over, leading to mild and settled weather, though that forecast remains uncertain.
