Met Eireann is today warning of very unsettled conditions hitting Ireland over the coming days, with plenty rain and even stormy weather predicted.

Tomorrow, Friday, will be cloudy but relatively mild, with scattered outbreaks of light rain at times, mostly across northern and western areas. Southern areas will see the best conditions, with sunny spells throughout the day. Temperatures will hit 21-22C.

Saturday will start off relatively dry, but showers will develop across Munster and south Leinster later in the day, spreading northwards.

Sunday is expected to be the worst day of the lot, with heavy showers and windy conditions during the evening.
