Gardai in Co Wexford have confirmed that woman has been hospitalised following a three vehicle collision.
It is understood that the woman was taken to Tallaght University Hospital following a three vehicle crash on the R734 at Ballymaclare in New Ross, Co Wexford.
Gardai say the woman aged in her 50s remains in critical condition, they also say another woman aged in her 20s was seriously injured in the crash but is believed that her injuries are not life-threatening.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
