Met Eireann is today warning of wintry conditions over the days ahead, with snow and sleet possible at times.
According to the national forecaster, it will start feeling noticeably colder from today on, and temperatures will likely fall further as the week goes on.
The outlook is for daytime temperatures to remain in single digits, with sub-zero conditions at night.
Thursday and Friday are currently forecast to be very cold days, with the possibility of scattered showers of sleet and snow in some areas.
