The Met Office is forecasting overcast and wet weather across many areas of the UK for the next few days.
Following several weeks of bright and pleasant weather, with temperatures reaching 30C+, July is looking very different.
According to the agency, typical British weather will be predominant until July 13 or thereabouts, but conditions are likely to improve dramatically after that, with some forecasters indicating a return to very high temperatures.
