Met Office says that the UK might face subzero temperatures of -10C on Christmas Day

The Met Office is saying that the UK might face subzero temperatures of -10C on Christmas Day.

According to the British meteorological agency, a ‘polar surge’ might cause freezing temperatures from Christmas Eve and beyond, which might lead to a White Christmas in many areas of the country.

Ireland meanwhile is unlikely to see such low temperatures, with latest forecasts predicting a cold but mostly dry day, though sleet showers might develop in some areas.
