Without question, the biggest social media site in the world, Facebook is about to see major job cuts.
Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram are said to be cutting a large number of jobs this week with an announcement expected on Wednesday.
The Wall Street Journal reports that legal restrictions being forced on the company is the main reason for the job cuts.
Some 3,000 people are employed by Meta in Ireland with a further 6,000 indirectly employed.
