This woman named Leandra Becerra Lumbreras has unofficially become the oldest person on the planet.
It’s unofficial because although she was born on August 31st 1887, her valid birth certificate got lost 22 years ago. The official oldest living person is a Chinese man aged 116.
Leandra says her long sleeps and carefree attitude is the reason for her long life. She never married but has many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has outlived most of her children and says she still enjoys life.
