Seven time F1 World Champion, Michael Schumacher, is progressing at his home in Switzerland. He’s a specially built medical facility where he’s receiving 24/7 assistance from 15 medical staff.
Costs of medical equipment, wages and security are said to be €125,000 a week.
Schumacher is said to have an estimated fortune of €300 million, so the costs are insignificant. What is significant is the sportsman’s recovery.
Experts are saying the German will eventually regain a full normal life, but it still could years before the 45-yr-old is back on his feet.
The 5ft 8″ driver is said to have lost a lot of weight from being in a coma for 169 days.
“The doctors are building him up slowly but surely” an expert said.
