A migrant was arrested and charged on Saturday following an assault in East Wall on Saturday morning.
Gardai arrested the migrant on East Wall Road Saturday morning after receiving reports of an assault near Fairview Park.
Locals told The Liberal that a young woman was out for a run when the migrant allegedly attacked and punched her.
Thankfully, an Irishman heard the woman’s screams and was able to raise the alarm in time before something even worse happened.
The man, who is aged in his 30s, was charged and appeared before the courts on Saturday.
A garda told The Liberal that gardai arrested a man following a reported assault of a woman on East Wall Road, Dublin 3, on Saturday morning, 26 July 2025.
The arrested migrant is aged in his 30s and has been charged and remanded in custody.
